June Poulos Minaidis

I knew my husband when we were 10 and 12. He went to South San Francisco High School, class of 1958. We dated while I was at Mills High School. We got married on July 7, 1963 and have been married for 47 years now.

We lived in Millbrae for 3 1/2 years, then moved to Half Moon Bay for 14 years, then in 1980 moved to our current home in El Granada.

I was a secretary but stopped working when our daughter, Tina, was born in 1966. Our son, John was born in 1968.

In 1970 I got my real estate license and am a real estate agent, loan agent and notary public today.

My husband bought Tom & Pete’s Produce in Half Moon Bay in 1964 and we had only been married for one year. We still own this business today after 46 years. Tom sells produce, pumpkins and Christmas trees, retail and wholesale; and is a grower, shipper and broker. I do all the bookkeeping. Tom does not want to retire yet. I also take care of all of our income properties.

Tina gave us two granddaughters; Athena is 12 years old and Tiana is 10 years old.
