ALAN PINN
After a stint in the Army, I went to SF State then
transferred and graduated from San Jose State when I discovered the warmer
weather in the South Bay. I then taught
US Govt. and was senior class counselor for 11 years at Sunnyvale High School until
my 4 wins in 4 years of coaching football and tennis was my undoing.
In 1976 my
brother Dave (Cap 62) and I started The Pinn Bros. Companies and in the past 30
years have built over 6,000 homes for Bay Area families. I and my wife of 45
years (Toni Ann Bommarito-Cap 61), have two grown kids, one of which works in
the Company and three wonderful grand girls. We live in Hawaii about eight
months of the year and four in Saratoga. I am still employed; enjoy weight
training and golf with a dream of some day beating Dan Mahoney at Green Hills
where we both caddied as teenagers.
